The Ammonite process Ammonite swirls are ancient and connect the moment to the past. But a link connects everything indefinitely. It is a simple process involving growth and containing life. Not that it isn't this, but it is a form of slower life governed by a link to the past. It is an independant process and a natural one as it embodies a folded position of protection. |
Althought the Ammonite process is unique there are other forms of life to look at, I don't feel as though much is in its final state, although you could argue that through exterminations and luck valves, certain forms of life have become trapped within environments uncommon to their own and may be pushed to and from the scene independantly.
| First Meeting I once met a goat for the first time and was lucky enough to capture it in a photograph. Trouble is, I think the picture is leaving me and wandering away as I have lost the original and some of the connected material is also going. |

Trying to capture a beautiful image is the essence of art in general. To do this I am always looking for something unique and respondant. If I can converse with a goat or become accepted in some unusual way then I can respond to normality as though it really were fictional.
| Hotel Restaurant I was interested not in the way you run a business but in the thought process that sits comfortably within that environment. I did not imagine that there was a connection with the 'home'. |

The Tide The IT! I always wondered what it was but now it's clear! Why not, it's so deep and so wide and so immense. Ultimately it conquers the whole whatever it is. |
The truth is, I don't know what to look for, art is more of an exploration of bits and bobs that pile together to form some form of construction. Whether this means it is something very subtle and I haven't thought about it, then there must be another meaning to everything, I shall think about it.
Mawddach In this example, I was aware of a view but unfamiliar with it even though I had seen it a number of times. In order to clarify my perception I spent time with the subject. |
