Upside
down bowl (Ceramics) 2007
|
| My
first bowl, this has a brown glaze, with a surface shine. |

Old
house (Ceramics) 2007
|
| Based
on a Ceramical house made in the Neolithic period, this
item becomes a presentational example of its own medium,
there is something beautiful and light about the glaze,
that maintains an indefinite Cultural strength under any
condition. |

The
container (Ceramics) 2007
|
| The
wheel is a very useful tool and allows for some beautiful
options when forming an object in clay. This piece died
and became many different shapes before resting itself into
this final shape. |

The
plate (Ceramics) 2007
|
| Using
a pre-conceived mold, this piece contains two seperate glazes
acting as a horizon line that can be identified on the face
of the plate. |

Clown
(Ceramics) 2007
|
| This
figure was based on a Rodin design, the glaze itself contained
air bubbles so the figure was not an ultimate success, but
on reflection, as a visual object to look at, it seems to
have a life of its own. |

Alien
(Ceramics) 2007
|
| Hand-pressed
Ceramical figure based on an alien or slug. |

Slab
Vase (Ceramics) 2007
|
| Slab
of clay rolled around and trained into a specific shape.
The glaze is made using a copper oxide with something else. |

The
Mask (Ceramics) 2007
|
| This
face reminds me of hotels and myths. It has a very personal
significance, although I expect that may be true to anybody
who saw it. The face itself is not absolutely symmetrical. |

Ceramical
object (Ceramics) 2007
|
| A small
hand-rolled and printed item with shiny marble - surface. |

Ceramic
Candle Holder 2007
|
| Using
a slabbing method with clay I slipped a box together with
three holes around the sides. In the centre there is a ring
just slightly too big for a normal candle-size, the shape
of the square is not exact although the circular window-shapes
suggest a naturalistic hobbit-like appearance that I was
pleased with. |
