I thought of the New Artists Initiative because I often feel that people do not share appreciation of the arts outside of close family or friends and perhaps people might like to share ideas and discuss culture. Art is misrepresented when it is ignored and shunned, but people aren't like that. There is an understanding and a patience with art that everyone shares.

So a New Artist initiative aims simply to inspire people who have begun to roam.
